Finding the Pavilion on the Property:

Once you arrive at St. Maron, enter at the main driveway near the large sign for the Maronite Center. 

Proceed along the far left edge of the parking lot toward the church building.

When you reach the back of the parking lot, there is a gated driveway in the left corner. Follow that driveway.

Since there is a lot of organizing that needs done in advance, we are unable to accept baskets the day of the picnic. Please contact one of the following people ASAP if you have not yet turned in your basket:

FAQ

  • What is the cost?

    • The picnic is free to attend. If you wish to help contribute to offset the costs of the picnic, please participate in the Basket Raffle or 50/50 drawing​.

      • A sheet of 26 tickets for the basket raffle will be $15 or 2 for $25. There will also be a premium table with items worth $100 or more - tickets will be 3 for $10 or 7 for $20.

      • 50/50 tickets will be 3 for $5, 7 for $10, or 20 for $20.

  • What is the menu?

    • ​​Jeff Chrystal Catering is preparing the food.

    • The caterer will provide char-grilled burgers and hot dogs over a cherrywood fired spit, grilled marinated chicken breast, classic macaroni salad, local corn on the cob, and fresh watermelon slices.

  • Do I need to bring anything?​​

    • Just a smile.

    • If you wish to bring something to share, ​please bring either cookies for our Parish Cookie Table or individually wrapped snack bags (chips, pretzels, trail mix, etc.).

    • Your favorite lawn chair if you would like. Seating is mostly at picnic tables.

  • What activities will be taking place?

    • Besides the Basket Raffle and 50/50 drawing, there are bocce courts and a playground​ available.

  • What restroom facilities are available?​

    • There are both a men's and women's restroom attached to the pavilion.​

  • Is the pavilion handicap accessible?​

    • Yes, there are no steps into or within the pavilion. ​

    • There are grab bars in the restrooms. However, the doorways into the restrooms may be narrow for some wheelchairs. If you need assistance, members of the picnic committee will be available to help. 

    • The distance from the parking lot to the pavilion may be long for some who have limited mobility. Picnic committee members will be available to assist.
