Ministries & Organizations

Altar Servers  Altar servers are recruited from CCD and Catholic school students upon completion of 4th grade.

This dedicated group of young people takes their service to the parish community very seriously and often continues to serve through their college years.

Adult altar servers, who are senior citizens from the parish, faithfully serve funeral Masses during the week. Their help and vigilance is of great value to the parish.

Choir The choir of Columba is an apostolate dedicated to enhancing the worship of the congregation through the ministry of music. The choir regularly assists the parish by providing music and leading the congregation at the 10am Sunday Mass and at the principal Masses of Feast Days and Holy Days.

Membership is open to all parishioners high school age and over. Rehearsals are usually held one-half hour prior to the Sunday 10am Mass. Rehearsals for special Feast Days, Holy Days or other celebrations are held on an evening that is convenient for the majority of choir members.
